THE SOUND OF VIBRATION

Our voice is our tool of communication besides being a fascinating instrument. It drives a procession of non verbal messages which, once mastered, may change human relationships. Our voice is the reflection of who we are, as well as who we think we are. It is a question of harmonizing its authenticity and its accuracy.
The power of singing is to take our body as a vibrating instrument connected with our intelligence and the harmony of others: the vibration of sound, vibration of communication, vibration of emotion. Music is the universal language par excellence. Everything is music for the person who hears and listens. The voice is the primary instrument and, by singing, this instrument may be pushed to its extreme possibilities.
Breaking internal barriers and limitations gives access to our individual voice.
Singing has us overcome our fears and inhibitions and leads the body to authentic and efficient communication. By working this way on the body and our breathing, stress may be controlled, one may step back in order to know oneself better and canalise emotions. Singing encourages exchange and allows us to refine and balance relations with others by developing our listening powers.
Singing together constructs a team in its vertical and horizontal dimensions: each voice is complementary and contributes to the beauty of the result which will then generate the harmony of the sounds of human beings. It is a question of mastering the functioning of utterance of sound (phonation) and discovering its treasures (colours, shades, quality in tone, power, and resistance) by experimenting on its place within the body (posture, breathing and sound boxes): finding the right vocal gesture, controlling its vocal power, pitching one’s voice correctly. To get there, professional lyric singers share their passion, their vocal technique and their stage experience. Breathing exercises, pitching of sound, research of tone quality and sound box allow you to discover your own voice.
Singing means pitching the voice on your breath without tension, having it travel in your body and the surrounding space with other voices and not against them. Singing also means rediscovering one’s substantial intelligence which is sensitive to communication by constant renewal of complementary listening.
